City of lights

June 1, 2008 at 9:59 pm (photojournalism) (, , , , , , )

Photograph taken at the “White nights” event that took place a while ago in Bucharest.

So, for who is not familiar with the event, i will make things clear. “White nights” is a cultural event in which museum’s, operas, art galleries and so on are open for the entire night, for free. So far there have been 3 editions, last year there was one edition for the museums, this ear 2 separate editions took place at one week distance i think, one for the musesums and a nother for the art galleries.

The two photos posted are from the edition that took place for the museums.

Enjoy!

Some photojournalism and some landscapes… taken at Hurezu and Polovragi monastery in Romania. Some beautiful places that i would love to see over and over again. Me and my parrents stood at the Hurezy monastery for 3 days, during this time we also went to visit other places as well the Polovragi monastery (and for the following i don’t have english word so i will just use the romanians one) Schitul Iezerului, Schitul lui Pahomie

Photos taken at Hurezu monastery, Romania, a beautiful place, nice people, fresh air, green grass need i say more?

After me and my parrents arrived and checked in, we went to some green green grass, i had my fun by taking some macro shots. This is what emerged.

On the way to the Polovragi monastery, Romania, but this time i did manage to take any photos inside because the battery of my camera died.

At the mountains

May 6, 2008 at 7:38 pm (photojournalism) (, , , , , , , )

Decided i need to have a rest so i went to the moundain side, with some friends at Predeal, a vacation place, where i stood for a day, the next day we went to Brasov. Here are some photos that “emerged” to the surface. Photos are scrambled, the second and last are from Brasov. Verry curious… in the period in which i stood there, there where no tourists at all. It was near 1 May, day in which people that work for the state have a free day (well not everyone). Since it was soo close, i was expecting to see the place full, well it wasn’t…
